Good Evening, I was so blessed by all the testimonies I received from you, sharing your stories of God’s goodness and mercy towards you. I really believe God is inviting us into a season of Thanksgiving, where our focus is to think of all the ways God has blessed us. I have been an eyewitness and have seen God heal, deliver, save and restore so many of my loved ones, and for this I am so grateful. As I left church today, the choir sang, “You are my strength, strength, like no other, reaches to me.” And even now the lyrics to this song are abuzz in my sprit because God is really doing some marvelous things in our lives, right before our very eyes. I know there are many people who feel weak, that your strength has been lost, but tonight I want to encourage you to keep holding on to God, because God will never let you go. No matter what you are facing, no matter how big your giants seem, we serve a God who will defeat every foe and every enemy. So as you enter this week, I invite you to focus on God’s kindness to you. Use your memory and think of the times in your life, where God rescued you; where God opened a door, that once seemed impossible. The interesting thing about thanksgiving is that, thanksgiving is really for us. So many times our enemies–sickness, financial burdens, family drama–want us to forget just how powerful God is; but when we adapt the posture of thanksgiving our faith is strengthen, because the same God who delivered us back then–is able to deliver us right now!
