Fill Yourself Up With Christ

There sits in front of you two glasses of water. Both are full. Imagine one is you and the other is Jesus. In the effort to get more of Jesus inside you, you must empty the first cup of its contents to be able to fill it with the contents of the second cup.

To be completely filled with Jesus in your life you need to empty yourself completely of you and ask Jesus to fill you with Himself. 

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again; Rejoice! Philippians 4:4

This verse was written by Paul. He was not rich with a big house, a nice car, lots of cash, and with no worries. He was in prison and beaten. Can you imagine? He was in PRISON. He was in a hard spot, but still encouraged us to think about good things and to REJOICE! Philippians 4:8

What must we empty from our own desires to be fulfilled in Christ? How are we Finding Joy In Difficult Times?  What are we holding onto that we must let go in order to experience this kind of joy in hardship?
