We've all been hurt at one point or another. But too often we allow those hurts to become permanent. Instead of experiencing an offense and letting it roll off of our shoulders we let the hurt handicap our potential. Today's sermon reminds us that it's not worth it to hold on to hurt. More importantly this powerful teaching shows us how to recover from the hurt and find a path forward. Don't dwell on the anger. Don't stay sad day after day after day, but remember that you are a child of God. And because you are a child of God you can lift your head up, brush the dirt off of your shoulders and keep going. This week enjoy walking in your freedom because no hurt has the power to keep you down.
