A BETTER NIGHT

I thank you for keeping me one more day.  I thank you for your grace and your mercy.  I am here again, at this midnight hour crying to you- “its me, its me, its me, oh Lord, standing in the need of prayer.  Its not my sister, its not my brother, but its me oh Lord, standing in the need.”  I come to you with a heavy heart, because you know all the things that are weighing on my heart. 

You know the trouble my soul feels.  You know how i long for peace.   For Just for a peaceful nights sleep.  For the chance to rest in your embrace.   I come desperate for you, God.  I come seeking your face.  I have tried everything else.  I have tried my friends and my family.  I have tried money and earthly things, but none of that can do. 

I NEED JESUS.
